SiSiB is a leading manufacturer of silanes and silicones in the world with more than 30 years’ history. SiSiB alkyl silicone fluid generally refers to long-chain alkyl silicone fluid, which replaces part of methyl groups in methyl silicone fluid or methyl phenyl silicone fluid with long-chain alkyl groups. The introduction of long-chain alkyl makes silicone products have better mold release, lubricity, antifouling characteristics. Therefore, long-chain alkyl silicone fluids are widely used in various release agents, lubricants, lubricating additives, anti-sticking agents and base oils for personal care products. SiSiB long-chain alkyl silicone fluid has excellent extreme pressure lubricity, oil solubility, and wear resistance. It has good lubricity to metal materials, it can be used as a release agent in die castings of aluminum, zinc, magnesium and other metals that are subsequently painted, bonded or plated. It can also be used as mold release agents in the production of floor mats and tiles, gaskets, gaskets, toys, paneling, decorative strips, plastic and rubber products for household appliances components.
SiSiB long-chain alkyl silicone fluid is used as a defoaming agent for coatings, latexes, and printing inks. It has good compatibility with organic materials and foam suppression, and does not affect subsequent surface processing.
In the field of personal care, alkyl silicone fluid has better compatibility, lubricity and gloss than methyl silicone fluid, and can be miscible with mineral oil. Octyl silicone fluid has good lipophilicity, can be used as a lipophilic emulsifier in cosmetic formulations.
SiSiB long-chain alkyl phenyl modified silicone fluid SiSiB® SF0203, as a new type of advanced release agent, lubricant and lubricating additive, has higher temperature resistance, higher refractive index, better transparency and better lubricity than long-chain alkyl silicone fluid.
In addition, SiSiB developed alkoxy-terminated silicone fluids SiSiB® PF2110 and SiSiB® PF2120, they are used as anti-structuring (crepe hardening) additive for filled silicone rubbers to improve processing performance.
