Phenyl Functional Silanes, Phenyl Alkoxy Silanes, Phenyl Silanol, Phenyl Siloxanes

The hydrosilylation reaction is a dominant curing method for the light-emitting diode (led) silicone encapsulant, which requires characteristics of high transparency, high refractive index, and thermal stability against the led junction temperature. Phenyl silanes by SiSiB, a reliable silicone supplier, may be used as a precursor in the synthesis of linear vinyl oligosiloxane resins which can be used in the production of thermally resistant light emitting diode (LED) encapsulant.
In addition, SiSiB® PC8131 (Phenyltrimethoxysilane) contains phenyl groups, exhibits excellent thermal stability, is particularly suitable for polymers processed at high temperatures, and brings flexibility to sol-gel coating systems. SiSiB® PC8131 can be used for surface hydrophobic treatment of inorganic fillers such as wollastonite and aluminum trihydroxide, thereby increasing their dispersibility in mineral-filled polymers.
SiSiB® PC8221 (Diphenyldihydroxysilane) can be used as a stereo-regulator for Ziegler-Natta-catalysts to increase the isotactic index in polypropylene. (B donor)
SiSiB® PC8228 (Diphenyldihydroxysilane, also known as Diphenylsilanediol) can be used to synthesize octaphenylcyclotetrasiloxane. SiSiB® PC8228 can also be used as anti-structuring (crepe hardening) additive for filled silicone rubbers to improve processing performance.
SiSiB® PC8318 (Triphenylsilanol, CAS No. 791-31-1) can be used as an end-capping agent for linear polysiloxanes, a molecular weight regulator for polymerization reactions, and a protective agent for organic reactions.
SiSiB® PC8801 (1,1,5,5-tetramethyl-3,3-diphenyltrisiloxane, CAS No. can be used to synthesize pharmaceutical intermediates. SiSiB® PC8801 can also be used as crosslinkers for liquid silicone rubber, phenyl silicone rubber and phenyl resin.
