Zinc-clad Steel Ground Rod (Wire)
Our zinc-clad steel ground rod, also known as zinc-clad galvanized steel ground rod, also known as zinc plated rod is a new type of grounding product based on China's GB50650-2011 petrochemical lightning protection design code. As the main raw material, hot-dip zinc is continuously cast through a special process to form a bimetal composite grounding material. Zinc-clad steel composite grounding materials can be widely used in grounding and cathodic protection coexistence of petrochemical storage tanks and soils with strong corrosivity, and can also be used as grounding materials for buried other steel facilities.
Features of the zinc-clad steel ground electrode:
Unique manufacturing process: Through a special continuous casting hot-dip galvanizing process, the zinc-clad steel composite ground electrode uses low-carbon steel as the steel core, which not only has high strength and thermal stability of steel, but also has good tensile strength.
Better electrical performance: Zinc, as a coating metal, has 2.5 times the electrical conductivity of steel, and better electrical leakage.
Better anti-corrosion characteristics: Zinc, as a coating metal, has strong corrosion resistance, which greatly extends the use of the grounding grid.
Stronger cathodic protection: due to a certain thickness of zinc layer, it can be used as a sacrificial anode body to protect the ground grid, underground metal facilities and related steel equipment. Grounding, cathodic protection double insurance.
More convenient for construction and installation: special link sleeve or hot-melt welding method, the link is fast and simple, strong, good stability, and the construction efficiency is increased by more than 50%.
