It is a voluntary certification.

The first batch of products listed in China's electrical and electronic products restricted-use management catalog for hazardous substances are: refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, electric water heaters, printers, photocopiers, fax machines, televisions, monitors, microcomputers, mobile communication handhelds There are 12 categories of stand-alone s and teles.
