Racking and shelving

Drive-in racks

In same size space, the storage capacity of drive-in racking almost doubles that of pallet racking. As the drive-in racking cancels the aisle between rack rows, and puts the racks together near each other, so that the goods can go through on same layer and in same column.

Mezzanine racks

Construct an air mezzanine on existing racks or above the work floor to increase storage area. Super light, small and medium items or long shelf life items can be stored on the floor of the mezzanine. And the items can be lifted by forklift, conveyor, hoist and lift platform. Generally light carts or pallet towing are adopted for working on the mezzanine.

Three-dimensional racks

Since the storage mode inWMShas developed from plane storage to high-rise three-dimensional storage, storage rackshas become the main topic of three-dimensional warehouse. A variety of automated and mechanized warehouses composed of various forms of rack shelving systems that meet different functional requirements have become an important part of the storage system and even the whole logistics system or production process.

Pallet racks

The pallet rack is used to store unit pallet goods, and is equipped with aisle stacker crane and other storage and transportation machineries. The high-rise racks mostly adopt integral structure, which is generally made of rack pieces (with pallets) welded by section steel, connected through horizontal and vertical pull rods, beams and other components. The automated pallet rackingcan improve the efficiency of storage.

Gravity racks

Each compartment of gravity rack is an inventory chute with a certain slope. The cargo unit loaded into chute by inbound crane can automatically move from the inbound end to the outbound end under the action of its own weight until arriving the outbound end of the chute or reaching the existing cargo unit to be stopped. After the first cargo unit at the outbound end of chute is taken away by the outbound crane, each cargo unit behind it moves one goods space to the outbound end in turn under the action of gravity.

Screen hanging racks

The screen hanging rack is composed of louver hanging screen and hanging box, which is suitable for the storage of various small parts. It can also be set on a trolley or pallet for temporary storage between processes or for the supply of materials on the assembly line.

Mobile racks

Mobile rack is easy to control, safe and reliable. Each row of racks is driven by a motor to move by rollers installed under the rack travelling on a track laid on the ground. The outstanding advantage of the automated warehouse racking is to improve the utilization rate of space. A group of racks only requires one channel, however, a channel of fixed pallet racks serves only two rows of racks on two sides of the channel. Therefore, in the same space, the storage capacity of mobile racks is much higher than that of general fixed racks or shelves.

All these storage shelves help reduce labor cost and improve the whole logistics system or production process.
