Various grades of Samarium Cobalt(SmCo) countersunk ring magnets are available for industrial and commercial applications. The magnetic energy of SmCo countersunk Magnet range from 16 to 32 MGOe. The grade range allow for balancing cost, magnetic performance, and operational temperature resistance.
There are two main types of countersunk Samarium Cobalt (SmC) rare earth magnet alloy. The older type, typically denoted as (1-5) having one Samarium atom per 5 Cobalt atoms, and the newer Samarium Cobalt magnet alloy, typically denoted as (2-17), having an atomic ratio of two Samarium atoms to 17 Cobalt atoms. Both rare earth SmCo5 and Sm2Co17 countersunk magnets are available in Beilun Meank.
