Teflon Adhesive Tape

As a manual synthetic polymer material using all hydrogen atoms in fluorine substituted polyethylene, Teflon has the characteristics of antic acid anion-alkali, insoluble in all solvents, and high-temperature resistant. Normally, the heat-resistant Teflon tape can withstand the working temperature ranging from -270°C to 260°C. Thus, having stable performance, the high heat Teflon tape can be utilized on various occasions.
How to Make Teflon Tape?
The production of a good roll of high heat PTFE Teflon tape requires the precise coordination of the following three processes: Coating, drying, rewinding, and cutting.
Coating: After the R&D developers select the chemical ingredients according to the desired properties of the heat-resistant Teflon tape, Hopelight will use a coating mold to apply the Teflon coating solution over the glass cloth substrate thin and evenly. Such Teflon coating would be very uniform and free of other defects.
Drying: Following the coating process, the substrate coated with adhesive will need to enter the oven for drying. It should be noted that some coatings must be cooled and fixed before drying, and some can be directly heated and dried.
Rewinding and cutting: Generally, the Teflon tape with great heat resistance on the market is about a few centimeters wide. Regarding the length, it's then about 5-50 meters long rolled together. Whereas, from the viewpoint of practical and convenient production, the Teflon sticky tape with high-temperature resistance must be first made into a large volume (mother), and then by rewinding slitting cutting process, packaging into the form of customers actually need.
