It is sterile trehalose dihydrate with the characteristics of high glass transition temperature, low hygroscopicity and water retention. Organic trehalose is also safe, heat resistant (trehalose melting point is high), resistant and extremely stable. Trehalose dihydrate is the most stable molecule among natural disaccharides. Sucrose and trehalose are all protective agents (for biological).

Trehalose has been successfully applied in medicine as a stabilizer for blood products, vaccines, cell tissues and other bioactive substances, which can not only prolong the storage time at room temperature, but also prevent blood contamination.
