Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl
This skin conditioning agent is categorized as a neuro-peptide, and believed to block the body's uptake of Na+, which in turn causes the facial muscles to relax and prevent the formation of expression lines (wrinkles). For this reason, it's mostly used in anti-aging products that are specifically designed to provide a safer alternative to botox. It serves as the active peptide cosmetic ingredients contained in SY-NAKE- an anti-wrinkle product that claims this ingredient to mimic the effects of Walgerin 1- a peptide found in snake venom known for its muscle relaxing properties.
