PM Fiber Optic PLC Splitter
PM PLC optical splitter is composed of a PLC chip, an input fiber array and an output fiber array. Normally, the fiber PLC splitter can split the input power evenly while keeping the states of polarization unchanged. Thus, it is mainly used in fiber sensoring system. Being aware of the impotance of PLC Splitter, MEISU produces various fiber optic splitter types with multiple channels, including 1×2, 1×4, and 1×8.
PM PLC Splitter Features
1xN(2--64), 2xN(2--64)
High Extinction Ratio
Small size
High reliability
Wide operating wavelength range
Good channel-to-channel uniformity
How It Works
PM fiber PLC Splitter is fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology. It usually includes planar lightwave circuit chip, single channel polarization-maintaining fiber array as the input end and multi-channel polarization maintaining fiberas output ports. PM fiber splitteris a critical optical power management device in optical coherent communication and optical fiber sensing system.
As a custom optical assembliescompany, we will do our best to meet all the needs of customers.
