Micronized wax used in water system
Micronized wax is primarily dispersed into aqueous systems via surfactants for use in water-based inks and coatings, imparting properties such as scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, and water repellency. [1] Polyethylene Micronized wax is insoluble in water at ambient temperatures and requires surfactant dispersion into aqueous systems. Its particle size ranges from 0.5 to 1μm, with typical addition levels of 2.0%–5.0%.

Water-based inks: Polyethylene wax-based Micronized wax enhances ink scratch resistance and scrub resistance, suitable for applications such as label printing.
Water-based coatings: Adding micro-wax improves the coating's tactile feel, gloss level, and matting effect, while also enhancing the film's weather resistance and waterproof properties.
