Micronized wax is a functional additive widely employed in industrial paints to enhance the surface properties of the paint film, characterised by its fine particle size and uniform distribution.

Enhanced Surface Properties: Micronized wax fortifies industrial paints against scratching, adhesion, and abrasion while imparting a smooth tactile feel. For instance, in coatings for steel structures or machinery, this reduces damage from routine friction.
Improved Application Process: Incorporating micronized wax into formulations optimises rheological properties, yielding more uniform coatings and minimising air bubbles or orange peel effects.
