Purpose: mud hydrometer is used in the well site or in the laboratory measurement of mud weight, the unit is g/cm3. It is use to provide a simple method to determine accurately the mud density. This apparatus consists of a base and graduated arm with cup, lid, knife edge, rider, built-in spirit level and counter-weight, carrying case. The constant volume cup is affixed to one end of the graduate arm & the counter-weight on the opposite end.The Slurry hydrometer is used to determine mud hydrometer in field and laboratory. It is widely used in civil engineering and geological testing area.
