SDMS-30 laser snow depth sensor
The laser recognition and measurement technology for snow is used to overcome the shortcomings of other sensors (ultrasonic waves, electromagnetic waves, weight, etc.) that cannot be recognized by snow, and the thickness of the snow is obtained by monitoring the distance of the location.
The sensor emits a modulated laser and measures the distance by comparing target phase information. The depth of the snow is obtained by comparing the measured distance with the reference distance. Adopt a reasonable method to eliminate errors caused by snowflakes by measuring time extension and filtering short-cycle echoes. Widely used in meteorological observation, traffic and road monitoring and winter sports venues. Among them, the 36-point laser scanning outputs the average value or each measurement value, which maximizes the measurement accuracy.
