Regional distribution of domestic robot system integrators
Enterprises are concentrated in the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. The reasons are as follows: the production of automobile and electronics industry is mainly distributed in the South and east of China. Shanghai, Wuhan, Changchun and Guangzhou are the four most intensive areas of China's automobile production base. At the same time, Shanghai and Guangzhou are also developed areas of the electronics industry. In the above areas, the sales of industrial robots accounted for the largest proportion, reaching more than 50% in 2017.

In the Chinese market, the main sales channel of foreign brands is system integrators, because foreign industrial robots are mainly used in automobile and electronic industries which require high industrial robots integration. Relying on system integrators can expand the market faster. Domestic brand robotics application industry is relatively decentralized. Plastic rubber, food and beverage, electronic manufacturing and so on are the main application industries of domestic robots. It is mainly used in handling, palletizing and other applications with low accuracy and load requirements.
