High-speed wire is a kind of Wire-Cutting Electrical Discharge Machining, also known as Wire-Cutting Electrical Discharge Machining High-Speed (WEDM-HS). Its wire electrodes (generally molybdenum wire, specifications: 0.18mm, 0.2mm, 0.22mm, 0.25mm) are in high-speed reciprocating motion. Molybdenum wire speed is 8～10m/s, adjustable. Molybdenum wire is reusable. So name because the processing speed is fast and convenient (precision is 0.05-0.08mm).
