A hydraulic chuck is a specialized tool holder used in precision machining operations. The chuck uses hydraulic pressure to clamp a cutting tool in place, providing a strong and stable grip. When hydraulic pressure is applied to the chuck, hydraulic cylinders are activated, which presses a piston onto the back of the tool shank and locks it securely into place.
