Double disc cutter, also known as double disk, is a kind of 19 inch twin disc cutterwith two cutter rings, which is mounted on the front and gauge area of the cutter head. It is mostly used to break soft rock with low uniaxial compressive strength (UCS≤70Mpa) and mixed ground.
