Antioxidants as food preservativesis a kind of chemical substance, which can delay or inhibit the process of polymer oxidation when it only exists in a small amount in the polymer system, thus preventing the aging of polymer and extending its service life.
Functions of sodium erythorbate antioxidant
The competitive combination of oxygen delays the initiation of oxidation;
Destroy free radicals or combine with free radicals to stop chain reaction transmission;
Catalysts that inhibit the oxidation process and stabilize peroxides to delay or stop the oxidation reaction.
