Application:
C1214 may be utilized to great advantage in several applications involving petroleumproducts. Because of its superior solubilizing properties, it may be useful in preparing oil-solublefriction modifiers from insoluble friction-reducing materials.
Since it resists oxidation, it enhances thestability of fuels, and the formation of soluble derivatives may be the basis for the maintenance offluidity and resistance to sludging during storage and heating. The anticorrosive effects of theproduct is also valuable.
