Unsaturated polyester resin refers to the polycondensation reaction of diacids and diols to form a polymer containing unsaturated double bonds.
Specifications of UPR
Unsaturated polyester resin is a kind of thermosetting resin, when it is in the action of heat or initiator, can be cured into a kind of insoluble and insoluble polymer network polymer. However, the polymer has low mechanical strength and cannot meet the requirements of most applications. When reinforced with glass fiber, it can become a composite material, commonly known as "fiberglass". Compared with resin casting, the mechanical strength and other properties of FRP have been greatly improved.

HPMA is low molecular weight maleic anhydride derivativeswith a general relative molecular weight of 400~800, non-toxic, easily soluble in water, high chemical stability and thermal stability, decomposition temperature above 330℃. The product can also be used for cement additives.

Maleic anhydride (MAH) hydrolyzed into polymaleic anhydride (HPMA), it is an orange viscous liquid, relative density is 1.2 (20℃), average molecular weight is about 600, acidic, can ionize, soluble in cold water. This product is non-toxic.
