Silicone Oil Series
Silicone oil for salerefers a linear polysiloxane product that maintains a liquid state at room temperature, usually colorless (or yellowish), tasteless, non-toxic, non-volatile liquid. They are not high in molecular weight.
Silicone oil has excellent heat resistance, electrical insulation, weather resistance, hydrophobicity, physiological inert and smaller surface tension. Moreover it has low viscosity-temperature coefficient, high compression resistance, some varieties even have radiation resistant performance.
Silicone oil can be classified into primary product and secondary product according to its processing condition. The former refers to the silicon oil products before processing, including hydroxyl silicone emulsion, carbon silicone oil and non-active modified silicone oil. In these categories, the first is used as linear silicon oil, and the latter two are called modified silicone oils. The secondary silicone oil products refer to those with silicone oil as raw material, with suitable addition of thickening agent, surfactant, solvent and other additives, through specific processing technology, it's produced to pastes, emulsions and other liquids, such as silicone grease, defoaming agent, powdering agent and so on.
Textile industry use silicone oil as softener, lubricant, waterproof agent, finishing agent and so on. Apart from using as textile auxiliaries to achieve functional fabrics, silicon oil products are also applied to other fields in the textile industry, such as silicone and polyurethane composite forming fabric coating, silicon and acrylic acid polymerization forming the printing of fabrics, silicon and organic fluorine forming waterproof coating on the surface of fabric, etc.
