Sodium percarbonate, chemically known as sodium hydrogen peroxide, is a white crystalline or granular compound. It is a salt derivative of hydrogen peroxide and has strong oxidizing and bleaching properties. Sodium percarbonate is often used as a bleaching agent, disinfectant and oxidant, and is widely used in household cleaning products, laundry detergents, bleaching agents, toothpaste and other products. In industry, sodium percarbonate is also used as a bleaching agent in environmental cleaning, sewage treatment, and pulp and paper production. When it dissolves in water, it releases hydrogen peroxide, which has a strong oxidizing effect on organic matter, so it has a good bleaching and disinfecting effect.
