tetrahydrocyclobuta[1.2-c:3.4-c ′] difuran-1.3.4.6-tetraone is a solid compound, and the crystal form is a colorless crystal. It can be dissolved in methanol, ethanol and other solvents, insoluble in water. This compound has higher stability and lower volatility.

Preparation Method:
tetrahydrocyclobuta[1.2-c:3.4-c ‘]difuran-1.3.4.6-tetraone can be prepared by the oxidation reaction of cyclobutanetetracarboxylic acid. First, cyclobutanetetracarboxylic acid is dissolved in an acidic condition, and then an oxidizing agent such as hydrogen peroxide, nitric acid, etc. is added to perform an oxidation reaction to obtain the tetrahydrocyclobuta[1.2-c:3.4-c ′] difuran-1.3.4.6-tetraone.
