White or light yellow crystal powder, a strong smell of sulfur dioxide, relative density is 1.4, easy to dissolve in water(20°C,54g/100ml water, 100°C,81.7g/100ml water) and glycerin, water solution. It has acidity, and its solubility will become large while raising the temperature and is less to dissolve in ethanol,Damp easily decomposed, when exposed in air, easily oxidized into sodium sulfate. And acid contact and the generated sulfur dioxide released corresponding salts.Heated to 150 °C decomposition.
2.Usage:
Sodium Metabisulfite (SMBS ) is used as Mordant of printing and dyeing; Dechlorination of textile after bleaching; Sulphonated agent and reducer of chemical industry and pharmacy; Bleach of paper pulp, bamboo and timber bleach of stap; Treatment agent of waste water;Rubber solidifying agent ,Perfume industry is served as hydrocarbon perfume aldehyde;The hide profession employ to do to molt dose and pliable dose and wearproof dose ;The sensitize industry is served as the developing agent reductant and the protection of fixing bath dose and so on; sewage treatment. etc

4.Packing Details:
Sodium Metabisulfite (SMBS ) will be packed in N.W25kg plastic woven bag within PE liner or Kraft paper bag within PE liner,or 500kg/1000kg/1100kg/1200kg jumbo bag.
20MT-25MT will be loaded in 1*20’fcl container.
5.Storage:
Sodium Metabisulfite (SMBS ) is stored in cool and dry place, avoid moisture and heat. No breakage, No mixed with oxidant and toxic matter. The storage period is 6 month since the production date. It should be transported by clean car, with covering matter, avoid raining.
