Hydrogenation corrosion inhibitor STD-12B
STD-12B hydrogenation corrosion inhibitor is an oil-soluble (water phase, oil phase) corrosion inhibitor that can dissolve in oil and diffuse in water to form a protective film. It has the dual functions of neutralization and film formation. It can not only neutralize acidic components, but also its film-forming components can be adsorbed on the metal surface to form a mechanical barrier to prevent corrosive media from corroding the base metal, and prevent corrosion and fouling caused by HCL, H, S, 02. organic acids and CO, HCN.
In high temperature (260℃ metal surface temperature) and low pH system, STD-12B can still maintain its corrosion and scale inhibition properties. Due to the solubility of STD-12B in hydrocarbons, it will not produce obvious emulsification of pipeline fluids when used within the prescribed dosage range. This additive does not contain heavy metals and halogens, and will not inactivate the chemical.
Properties
This additive has the appearance of light brown or brown oily liquid, is alkaline, and is irritating to the human body.
Uses
This additive is an oil-soluble corrosion inhibitor that can be used for the top of atmospheric pressure and vacuum towers or other fractionation tower top systems to prevent top corrosion. It can also be used for the hydrogen sulfide stripping tower or other light fraction systems after gasoline hydrogenation to prevent corrosion and extend the service life of the equipment.
Precautions
1. Injection amount: The general dosage of STD-12B is 15-40ppm (based on the processing capacity of the device system). Sometimes the addition amount is 60-100ppm depending on the different oil products and the different acid content in the processing process. Pure STD-12B can be directly added to the hot liquid flow, or it can be diluted with hydrocarbons.
2. Addition method: This product requires a chemical dosing pump or other convenient equipment continuous injection system. The pumping pipeline should be connected to the process pipeline with a stainless steel pipeline, and the content of iron Fe and copper Cu in the wastewater or hydrocarbons should be measured regularly to determine the addition amount for single or combined use with neutralizers
Packaging
This additive is packaged in plastic barrels with a net weight of 160 ± 0.5 kg or user requirements.
Safety protection
Store in a cool and low temperature place, avoid contact with fire or heat sources. In case of fire, use dry powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher to put out the fire.
