Characteristics: White crystal powder, easily soluble in ether solution, ethyl alcohol, benzene, methyl alcohol and acetone, slightly soluble in ether. It can't discolor Potassium Permanganate at normal temperature. Strong oxidizer can oxidize Methyl Sulfonyl Methane into methylsulfonic acid. Methyl Sulfonyl Methane solution presents neutral. Microsublimation occurs at 25 °C, and speeds up at 60 °C. It should be store in a tightly sealed container away from heat and direct light, and in a cool dry place.
