Specifications: Conforms to standard USP27.
Character: White or similar white powders,no smell,no tasteless; swell but dissolve in water, insoluble in methanol, ethanol, diethyl and acetone.
Particle size: 100 percent through 100mesh sieve.
USE: The product is the ramification of non-ion type cellulose ether.It has many uses which is mainly used as solid preparation collapse agent and bonding agent.Because its powders have great surface area and interstice rate,they can absorb water and swell quickly. When it is used as troche it makes troche disintegrate easily. At the same time,it has great inlaid action between its coarse structure and medicament and granule,so it will improve the hardness degree of troche,and not have an effect on disintegrating,thereby it will quicken the rate of dissolution and separation medicament and improve the utilization rate of life-form.The dosage is commonly about 2 to 5 percent,and it can be used to make particle with wet means in the troche production,which can be added to the dry granules and b pressed into flakes from Inside or outside.
