In the fields of fine chemicals and organic synthesis, BOC-L-GLU(ME)-OME, as a multi-functional chiral intermediate, is used to construct complex chiral molecules, heterocyclic compounds, and amino acid derivatives. In coordination reactions, the pH and metal ion concentration need to be strictly controlled to prevent the decomposition of the ligand; in polymer synthesis, the polymerization degree needs to be controlled to avoid premature detachment of the protecting groups, which may affect the material structure.
