Acid Yellow Gis Yellow powder, easily soluble in water, adding 10% sulfuric acid or sodium hydroxide in aqueous solution, no change in color. Soluble in ethanol, yellow. Soluble in acetone, ethylene glycol ether. Slightly soluble Chemicalbook in benzene, insoluble in other organic solvents. Yellow in concentrated sulfuric acid, no change after dilution; Yellow in concentrated nitric acid. The color is red when copper ions are encountered during dyeing. The color of iron ions is darker
【Application of Acid Yellow G】
Acid Yellow G is mainly used for dyeing and direct printing of wool, silk and fabrics, with good discharge and evenness. It is usually dyed in acetic acid dyebath, and can also be used to match beige, camel, gray and other light to medium colors. It can also be used for dyeing nylon. When used for dyeing wool and other fibers in the same bath, nylon can be dyed, silk is heavily stained, acetate fiber is slightly stained, and cellulose fiber is not stained.
