Auxiliary Material For Steelmaking
Steelmaking is the process for producing steel from iron ore and scrap. In steelmaking, impurities such as nitrogen, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur and excess carbon are removed from the raw iron, and alloying elements such as manganese, nickel, chromium, and vanadium are added to produce different grades of steel. The auxiliary materials for steel making are designed to improve the impurities and increase the quality of the steel.
The auxiliary materials from our company include fused calcium aluminate slag, pre-melting calcium aluminate, sintered calcium aluminate synthetic slag, ferrite calcium slag, carbon raiser and graphite electrode scraps.
Calcium Aluminate for Metallurgy is a kind of calcium aluminate fluxfor steelmaking, as it speeds up secondary metallurgy process, especially faster desulphurization, Improves overall steel cleanliness and makes high-grade steel with cheaper cost. Its applications have already been mature in some foreign countries, such as South Korea, Japan, the United States and the developed European countries.
Our production capacity for calcium aluminate slag is around 3000 tons per month and it is about 2000 tons per month for the carbon riser.
