Aerogels - what is it?
Silicon airgels (Silica) are also known as "blue smoke" or "Frozen Smoke". They are the lightest solid material in the world and still have the best insulating materials, it is the airgel that is the thermal insulation. Our airgels are divided into two types - powder and particles.

Application area
The functional structure of the interlayer, the filling layer and the composite layer for insulation, air purification, water purification and so on, our silica aerogels in powder can be added to many materials to provide superinsulation. In general, the field of application is very wide.

Aerogel particles
Aerogels in the particles also contain a nano-sized porous structure (40 ~ 60 nm), and has a low density (≤300 kg / m3), low thermal conductivity (≤0.02 W / (m.K)), high porosity (> 90% ) and with a high surface area (600 ~ 800 m2 / g), etc.
Particle aerogels have low density, high specific surface, light blue translucent appearance on the outside. They have low thermal conductivity, good permanent insulation property, strong adsorption capacity, environmentally friendly, fire-safe and non-corrosive, without toxicity to humans. Particle aerogels can be widely used as a functional structure of the interlayer, filling the layer and composite layer for thermal insulation and preservation, air purification, water purification.
