66kV Surge Arrester
When the communication cable or equipment is operating under normal operating voltage, the 66kV surge arresterwill not have an effect, and it is regarded as an open circuit for the ground. Once a high voltage occurs, and the insulation of the protected equipment is endangered, the arrester immediately acts to direct the high-voltage inrush current to the ground, thereby limiting the voltage amplitude and protecting the communication cable and equipment insulation. When the overvoltage disappears, the 66 kv lightning arresterquickly returns to its original state and makes the communication line work normally.
