designed and used where the NORSOK CFC (Compact Flange Connections) are in use.
The rings come in three different kinds of steel and are coated with PTFE in
varying colours in order to distinguish between them. Standard identification
NORSOK STANDARD L-005 (NCF5).The IX Seal ring is
an elastic seal energised by radial deformation caused by the wedging action of

Flange as follows Features 1.According to the
requirements of NORSOK STANDARD L-005 (Edition 2, May 2006), for the design of compact
flange, it increases the flange stiffness by reducing the radial size of
flange. 2.The middle arm is shorter than the conventional
flange by the gasket as a fulcrum and the bolt center as the force point, so it
becomes possible to reduce the flange metal consumption in the condition of
meeting the seal effect at the same time. 3.The respective connectors are of small sizes and
large numbers, which improve the stress uniformity.
