Depends on different beer model and brewing method ,the whole fermentation usually lasts 8-20 days .There are also some brewery in Europe countries prefer to keep longer period storage into fermentation tank for special flavor .
Sometimes the bright beer tanks will be arranged after fermentation period ,keep beer for longer storage ,curing . The bright beer tanks are similar like fermentation tanks ,also double layer vessel with bottom conical shape ,matching with continuous cooling device . Sometimes the bright beer tanks can made into single layer putting into the cold storage room for continuous cool temperature
