Application:
This device is a moisture permeability test for a breathable waterproof material having three functions of water resistance, moisture permeability and air permeability, which are developed for sportswear, particularly skiing clothes and climbing cloths. So we developed environmental testing machine.
The amount of water vapor transmitted to the outside of the garment is determined by the difference in the temperature difference between the water vapor inside the garment and the outside air and the vapor pressure difference caused by the perspiration.
The apparatus is placed in a tank having a certain temperature and humidity state, and the attached sample of the moisture permeable cup is allowed to stand for a certain period of time. The water vapor passed through the sample is obtained by increasing the weight of the hygroscopic material (anhydrous calcium chloride) , Thereby increasing the amount of water vapor permeability.
In this apparatus, there is a rotary type sample rack having two upper and lower stages. In order to wind the air parallel to the sample, a variable speed fan is installed corresponding to the two sample racks.
