The Bubble Pressure Method Membrane Pore Size Analyzer is designed for precise measurement and characterization of pore structures in a wide range of materials. It provides accurate determination of pore size distribution, gas and liquid permeability, and integrity assessment. The system is suitable for research, quality control, and performance evaluation in industries including filtration, battery manufacturing, textiles, nonwovens, paper, ceramics, sintered metals, construction materials, and fuel cell development.

Application

This analyzer is used to test the pore throat size of filter membranes, fibrous membranes, filter cartridges, battery separators, fabrics, nonwovens, paper, ceramics, sintered metals, rocks, and concrete. It is also suitable for evaluating lateral gas diffusion performance of compressed fuel cell carbon paper and assessing liquid and gas transport properties in porous materials. The system is widely used in R&D, production quality control, and laboratory testing where precise pore characterization is critical.

Features

(1) Provides a comprehensive set of test functions including bubble point pressure, wet and dry membrane flow-pressure curves, minimum and maximum pore size, mean pore size, most probable pore size, gas permeability, gas flux, integrity assessment, fiber membrane burst pressure, liquid permeability, and lateral gas diffusion performance.

(2) Multi-sample cell design allows simultaneous testing of different sample sizes; custom cells can be designed for special samples.

(3) Fully automatic vacuum-assisted wetting device accelerates sample wetting, improving test efficiency by over 50%.

(4) Compatible with a variety of wetting liquids (e.g., BSD15.9), enabling testing of diverse membrane and porous materials.

(5) High-precision dual flow and pressure sensors with segmented measurement ranges, automatic range switching, and program-controlled testing.

(6) All stainless steel pipelines with metal hard seals provide excellent sealing, corrosion resistance, and high-pressure capability.

(7) Detailed experimental log display and recording, accurate to the second, ensuring complete traceability of test data.
