Geosynthetics thickness tester
The Geosynthetics thickness tester is used to determine the thickness of textiles and textile products. It is suitable for measuring the thickness of various woven and knitted fabrics, and can also be used to measure the thickness of other uniform thin materials. It is the most important testing instrument for industries such as cotton weaving, knitting, bed sheets, handkerchiefs, and papermaking.
Applications
Used to determine the thickness of various geosynthetic materials under specified pressure and time. The sample is placed on the reference plate, and after a specified pressure is applied to the sample with a circular presser foot parallel to the reference plate for a certain period of time, the vertical distance between the two plates is measured, and the thickness of the sample is expressed as the average value of the test results.
