The Battery Cell Test Pressure Vessel is designed for thermal runaway testing of battery cells in compliance with UL 9540A. The system provides a fully sealed test environment capable of vacuum extraction, nitrogen filling, and measurement of critical parameters including pressure, temperature, and oxygen concentration. The vessel is equipped with interfaces for film heating and overcurrent circuits, allowing flexible customization to meet the specific requirements of battery safety testing.
Standards
The pressure vessel complies with the following standards:
(1) UL 9540A:2025 – Standard for Testing Thermal Runaway Fire Propagation in Battery Energy Storage Systems
(2) PV8450 – Battery Thermal Runaway Test Method
