The building materials flammability testing furnace is a testing instrument prepared according to GB/T 8625-2005 "Test Method for Flammability of Building Materials". It is used to determine whether building materials are flammable. Materials that pass the test in this combustion furnace and also pass the building materials flammability test can be classified as flame-retardant building materials.
Application
DIN 4102-16 describes the uniform procedure for testing building materials in the "Brandschacht" according to DIN 4102-15. The revision of DIN 4102-16 is carried out in order to update the list of standardised products that are used in the test method. The test method is used for the fire testing of building materials. The Brandschacht is a square housing into which air at a constant flow rate is introduced from below, and from which flue gas escapes from above. It is equipped with a square gas burner by means of which the specimen arranged in a mounting frame so as to form a flue, are exposed to flaming.
Brandschacht Test Apparatus, in accordance with DIN 4102 Part 15. is designed for the fire testing of building materials and elements. The ‘brandschacht’ is a square chamber, which has a constant flow of air introduced from the bottom, and combustion gas escapes from the top of the chamber. The specimens are mounted vertically and exposed to the flame generated by a square gas burner.

Features

2. During furnace wall preheating, the temperature level is intuitively displayed on the computer screen using bar graphs and different colors;
3. The solenoid valve connects the combustible gas and is controlled by the computer. When the maximum flue gas temperature exceeds 200℃, the computer will automatically close the solenoid valve, ensuring safe and reliable testing;
4. Equipped with a high-power constant temperature and constant flow device, providing fast temperature control and accurate flow rate;
5. An imported airflow sensor is used for online flow monitoring, and the results are displayed digitally.
