The Perspiration Testeris a laboratory instrument designed to evaluate the resistance of textiles to color change and staining under simulated human perspiration conditions. The test is conducted by treating the specimen with artificial acidic or alkaline sweat solution, then applying a specified pressure and maintaining a controlled temperature environment. After a defined period, the sample is assessed for color change and staining using standard grey scales.
