Grade LL50 LL20 tungsten carbide floating dies for drawing copper tube
Tungsten Carbide float dies is mainly used for drawing copper, such as air conditioning condenser, etc., with the tube drawing dies working together. Due to the carbide float dies is not fixed in the tube , so they are reach an equilibrium state through the friction and the deformation between the dies and copper tube. That’s the reason we called float dies. At the normal work condition, there are two plug for working, the bigger one for guide, the smaller for control size, both ends request to smooth transition.
The good performance of carbide float dies can drawing the length of the copper pipe more than 1000 meters which controls the inner size of the pipe when working and the tube drawing dies control the diameter of pipe outside.
The last, Carbide float pug has the very high surface requirements, usually the surface need to polish to mirror finished, the trachoma, cracks and the other defects is definitely not allowed.
