PTFE envelope gasket is composed of elastic materials. such as PTFE envelope gasket composed of compressed non-asbestos sheet and a PTFE envelope cove,PTFE envelope gasket composed of rubber and a PTFE envelope cove,PTFE envelope gasket composed of Ceramics and a PTFE envelope cove,etc.PTFE envelope gasket has superior properties against chemical (not affected by all chemicals except molten alkali metal and fluorine at elevated temperature).PTFE envelope gasket has a wide working temperature range. (180-260℃).PTFE envelope gasket has low coefficient of static and dynamic friction. PTFE envelope gasket is the best of the “non-stick” materials. PTFE envelope gasket has excellent weathering and aging characteristics.PTFE envelope gasket is used to seal pipe flanges glass lined, PVC or FRP.PTFE envelope gasket has low bolt torque effecting a seal and chemical compatibility.
