China u type butterfly valveis a type of butterfly valve that is designed to handle particularly thick or viscous fluids, such as slurries, powders, and granules. It gets its name from the shape of its disc, which is U-shaped and has a larger opening area compared to other types of butterfly valves.
The U-type butterfly valve works by rotating the U-shaped disc within the valve body to control the flow of fluid through the pipeline. When the disc is rotated perpendicular to the flow direction, it blocks the flow completely. When it is rotated parallel to the flow direction, the valve is fully open and allows the fluid to flow freely.
The larger opening area of the U-type disc allows for better flow control and reduces the risk of clogging in the valve. The valve is also designed with a tight seal to prevent leakage and ensure that the fluid is flowing in the intended direction.
