The silver antibacterial additives are uniformly incorporated within dressing, when the dressing absorbs exudate then silver ions are slowly and continued released helps reduce bacterial colonization in the dressing, which has board spectrum antimicrobial effect for Gram+ and Gram-Bacteria and Fungi for 7 days duration in vitro test.
Wound dressing impegnated with PHMB has a broad spectrum of activity against Gram+ and Gram-Bacteria and Fungi, which make it an ideal dressing in preventing and managing infection in wound care, it shown good clinical safety, no known toxic risks, and no resistance.
