What are laparoscopic dissector used for?
Aesculap signature slide-lock graspers are designed to provide the highest level of tissue grasping properties, available in both atraumatic and retraction jaw patterns. Choose from single and double-action jaw models, as well as rotating and non-rotating shafts.
How do you deal with laparoscopic dissector?
Wipe down surfaces of instruments with an enzymatic solution. Flush lumens in laparoscopic instruments and accessories to remove gross debris. Separate general surgical instruments from specialized or more delicate instruments (such as ophthalmic). Transport instruments to the specified cleaning area.
How big are laparoscopic dissector?
The commonest diameter for laparoscopic instruments is 5mm, though they range from 2–12mm. The narrower diameter (less than 5mm) instruments have less shaft rigidity and therefore are more flexible and more fragile than the wider versions. Standard instruments' length ranges from 34–37cm.
