Taber Reciprocating Abraser (Abrader)
The Wearaser collet assembly comes standard with each Taber Reciprocating Abraser, along with CS-10 and H-18 Wearaser abradants. This permits abrasion testing of most flat objects in a linear fashion. The size and shape of a pencil eraser, the Wearaser uses the same high quality Taber abrasive media found in our world-famous wheels.
Reciprocating Abraser is used to determine the scratch resistance and wear resistance for paint, plastic, decorative fabrics, automotive interior, cashmere fabric and others.
Application Features:
Reciprocating wear machine is used for detecting the Scratch resistance performance and abrasion resistance performance of coatings, plastics, decorative fabrics, automotive interior, cashmere fabric, such as scratch resistance and wear resistance. LCD screen controls and displays the test process, can set the number of reciprocating wear, movement stroke, reciprocating speed and other parameters according to user needs . The instrument has Unique friction arm design and achieve the replacement of different friction head. It accurately controls the implementation of pressure according to the principle of leverage balance. The instrument Fully meets the different requirements for different forms of friction, friction head, pressure and so on. At the time of testing, the test sample was fixed on a horizontal sample stage and was worn along with the horizontal movement of the sample stage Under specified abrasives and loads . The other end of the test arm was fitted with a weight to maintain the balance of the test arm to ensure the accuracy of the sample surface load. Abrasive and load rack height is adjustable to suit the testing of different height samples.
Instrument principle:
The tested product is fixed on a horizontal table and is worn under the specified abrasive and load with the horizontal movement of the aquarium. Using the principle of the lever, the other end of the test arm fits the weight to maintain the balance of the test arm to ensure the accuracy of the sample surface load and the reliability of the test results. Abrasive and load rack height is adjustable to suit the test of different height samples.In addition, according to the different requirements of customers, the instrument uses different friction media to test the wear resistance of different products.
