Halogen downlight in comparison produce a lot of heat and get very hot, a major point is that so much energy is wasted as halogen downlights loose a lot of energy in just the heat they produce where as LED Downlights nearly all the power used is turned in to useable light.2.Are 15W LED Gimbal Downlights expensive to run?In these times of energy bills getting higher LED Downlights are the most cost effective way to light an area.
