Investment sand recovery system, also called lost wax casting, can be customized according to the output of castings
Using the lost foam technology, the foam model can be used to pour the product. The foam model is embedded in a molded box in loose sand that is compacted by vibration. The liquid metal is then poured over the foam through a pouring funnel. The foam model produces gases under the influence of high temperatures. Once the metal has solidified, the product can be easily removed from the molded case. Using foam removal technology, it is in principle possible to pour very complex products at once, as foam models can be made up of different parts. However, each product requires a new foam model.
