Flow Switches For Leak Testing For Sale
When the Flow Alarm detects high or low liquid flow, it raises the alarm with a loud beeper and flashing LED. Flow Alarm detect low flow When power is supplied to your pump, the flow alarm allows a short time delay for flow to be detected, after which the alarm sounds. Convenient to install with a piggyback plug or receptacle box. Suited for pulsing flow from diaphragm pumps. Lasts for years. The LED lasts for 100,000 hours.FLOW ALARM DETECTS HIGH OR LOW LIQUID FLOWWhen the Flow Alarm detects high or low liquid flow, it raises the alarm with a loud beeper and flashing LED.Flow Alarm detect low flowWhen power is supplied to your pump, the flow alarm allows a short time delay for flow to be detected, after which the alarm sounds.Convenient to install with a piggyback plug or receptacle box.Suited for pulsing flow from diaphragm pumps.Lasts for years. The LED lasts for 100,000 hours. No relay chatter.Loud beeping cuts through the loudest industrial noise.Rugged.Built for rough, wet and corrosive environments.Suitable for corrosive chemicals. all polypropylene parts.A functional check is simple with the convenient test button.Ultra low power consumption. standby current consumption is only 13 micro-amps.Auxilliary outputs - contact closure or 9VDC power to trigger autodialers or a building alarm system.Flow Alarm is mounted direcly on a pipeSensing PrincipleThe Flow Alarm uses a shuttle type switch to detect when the flowrate falls below 300 ml/min. The liquid impinges on the switch to physically push it up. If there is a lack of flow then an alarm is given with beeping audio alarm and flashing LED.OPERATIONTypically a pump is controlled by another sensing device and will start pumping; the flow alarm allows a delay time for flow to be detected. (selectable 5s or 30s) If no flow is detected in this time, then the alarm is given.SILENCING ALARMDuring an alarm, the green button can be pushed to temporarily silence the alarm for 5 mins or 60 mins. (selectable)TEST BUTTONWhen there is no alarm condition the button serves to test the battery power and the circuitry. LED flashes and buzzer sounds while button is pushed.POWER FAILUREFor applications where flow must be maintained 24/7 the FLOW ALARM can detect power failure as well as low flow. If the power fails, an alarm is given. (which is distinct from the low flow alarm)HIGH FLOWThere is a jumper setting on the PCB that will reverse the logic and allow the Flow Alarm to give an alarm when flow is higher than 300 ml/min.LOW BATTERYThe ultra-low power consumption allows even alkaline batteries to last for 4 years, and Lithium batteries to last for 20 years. Nevertheless, if the battery power is low, and alarm sounds twice per minute.PULSING FLOWPulsing flow from diagphragm pumps does not bother the unit. The circuit buffers the readings so fluctuations are filtered. After 10 or 30 seconds (selectable) of no-flow, the unit responds with an alarm.
